A member asked:

Are there good natural treatments for malaria?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Perhaps you could get a little quinine from chewing cinchona bark. But seriously, there are no natural treatments for this disease, good or bad. If there were, malaria probably would not continue to be a major cause of illness and death. It's especially important to be treated appropriatly because some forms of malaria are resistant to commonly used drugs. You need medical care if you have it.
