A member asked:

Are there effective natural treatments for pericarditis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None proven: Pericarditis is an inflammation of the sac that surrounds the heart. It may be the result of an infectious process, certain environmental exposures (such as radiation), or another systemic (body-wide) inflammatory process that attacks the pericardium. Treatments are targeted towards the underlying process and may also include anti-inflammatory agents. There are no proven natural treatments.
