A member asked:

How often should blood work be done for a healthy adult? assuming cost (time, money, etc) is not a factor.

Great question: Typically once a year - fasting cholesterol, liver function tests, thyroid testing, diabetes screening, kidney and blood count assessment are standard by age 40. From age 20-39 yearly to every other year is okay assuming good health. For certain chronic conditions at any age more frequent blood draws maybe recommended.

Once a year: This a good rate to have it once a year, could changes if condition change.
