Inflammation: It is a disease that can affect any where from the mouth, stomach, intestines, colon to the anus. The disease sometimes skips areas. It is causes by genetics and an environmental trigger. It is diagnosed by a biopsy of the intestinal tract showing the characteristic connective tissue granulomas seen in crohn's disease.
