Cysts are present: In every woman's ovaries -- that is not what pcos is. It's a metabolic disease due to Insulin resistance. Treatment is diet, exercise, weight loss and possibly metformin which can decrease Insulin resistance and often restore normal menses and fertility in many women. Other therapies are available for specific indications. Talk w/your doctor.
