Some possible ideas: An article attempts to understand just this issue. I expect some part might, indeed, be from creating a break from routine, a sort of natural "shock" treatment. Also, the exposure to more activities may play a role. Depression: It is possible that fatigue lessens your symptoms temporarily but this is not a sustaneable way of treating anxiety and depression. Try using the anti anxiety app and consult a mental health professional if your symptoms do not lift. Best wishes.
