Diagnosis important: Sometimes when medications are not working the way they should, we need to go back to the basic and start over again. Firstly, is our diagnosis incorrect? Have the differential diagnostic options been considered? Doctors are not perfect. We miss things sometimes and we need second opinions to keep treatment on track. Ask your doctor what your exact diagnosis is . If it doesn't fit, let him know.

Psych Meds: Benzo's are for anxiety not depression althoughh sometimes, with people who suffer from both depression and anxiety, it will be prescribed to accompany anti-depressant. Be careful as benzo's can be addictive and if you do suffer from both conditions you should see a mental health professional who you can see for psychotherapy. Medicatons alone are not as effective as meds and psychotherapy.
