Thinning hair: The symptom is thinning hair. The cause can be primarily genetic. Thyroid disorders and anxiety can also be leading culprits. Excessive use of certain damaging hair products (like some perm agents) and excessive use of heat-hair dryers can also damage hair and cause thinning.
