A member asked:

My t4 levels were low(3.8) but my tsh levels(1.95) were normal. is my thyroid test normal?

Likely: All lab results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the test is usually in the best position to do that. The info you provided does not suggest a thyroid disorder.

Yes it is: The T4 is an outdated test, long ago replaced by the free t4. If your TSH is normal, which it is, the T4 is of no consequence.
