See a Derm: This diagnosis can be made clinically but occasionally would be biopsied. There are rare associations with other autoimmune diagnoses so we do rec. Checking some bloodwork. If there are no other spots treatment may not be necessary.

Skin lesion: Vitiligo tends to spread eventually, although, more limited forms exist. Without seeing it, it's hard to tell what it is and even seeing it may not necessarily help arrive to a correct diagnosis. A biopsy may be helpful. Also, consultation with a dermatologist would be very helpful.
