Whether intact or : divorced, your family will benefit from therapy to learn to ignore tantrums consistently, giving no positive or negative attention - no glaring, talking, arguing, yelling or engaging. Your child's behavior will 1st worsen to try to elicit your old responses, then stop. You'll learn effective discipline, both rewards & consequences. Dad may be able to hear your distress in a therapeutic setting.
