Normal: This sounds like normal behavior for children but behavior modifications may be needed. You may need to go to the pediatrician and they may have suggestions or may refer to a behavioral specialist.

Your child's behavior will 1st worsen to try to elicit your old responses, then stop. You'll learn effective discipline, both rewards & consequences. Dad may be able to hear your distress in a therapeutic setting.
