Been having contractions since 10 this morning they are not consistent most likely braxton hicks just wondering when i should contact my doctor?

Call if in doubt: When they are regular, strong, every 8-10 minutes, lasting 30-45 second. If in doubt, go to hospital and get checked.

As soon as...: They increase in intensity, frequency, or duration...Or cause you excess anxiety. Obs expect periodic calls with questions from their patients. Safer to ask--call your ob.

Labor: When your contractions start spacing in, usually every 5-6 minutes apart, lasting 30-40 sec's each or if your water breaks.
