Call if in doubt: When they are regular, strong, every 8-10 minutes, lasting 30-45 second. If in doubt, go to hospital and get checked.

As soon as...: They increase in intensity, frequency, or duration...Or cause you excess anxiety. Obs expect periodic calls with questions from their patients. Safer to ask--call your ob.
