Hydroquinone: The best treatment for uneven skin is hydroquinone (hq). It is great for freckles, sun damage, and can help scars. Do not use on moles or anything you're unsure of. The highest strength available otc is 2%. It is not very effective. For something more effective (4-10%), visit your dermatologist.
