Fumes and confusion: You should take your dad to a neurologist. I assume that if you are 63, he must be in his 80's. There may be other causes of his confusion other than his driving in his car, that leaks gas. Have him see a neurologist to rule out more common causes of confusion other than gas fume inhalation. Good luck.
