A member asked:

During menstruation, why does my stomach feel like a bottomless pit when it comes to eating food?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hormonal: The week before menstruation your Progesterone levels dominate and Progesterone is an appetite stimulant. I notice the same fluctuation myself in terms of appetite. There's a delay by a few days of course, but I have to remind myself it's my hormones talking!
