Normal: Yes, that is the natural color progression of a clot in an extraction site.

Extracted tooth: The blood clot from extracted tooth is normally dark red right after it's formed. Then it degrades and eventually disappears. Yellowish tint to the blood clot you're seeing may be due to the fact it's mixed with some other medication introduced during the procedure.
