Cyclosporiasis: Cyclospora, a protozoa infecting intestine. Common in nepal, peru, heiti; in children <18. In 1977 there was outbreak in the usa from imported raspberries. Symptoms: diarrhea, fatigue, abdominal bloating, cramps, gas, nausea, muscle cramps, joint and body aches, fever, chills, headache, wt.Loss, etc. Management: hydration, diarrhea diet. Your doc. Will rx an abx- tmp + sulfmethox. X 7 days.
