? protonix (pantoprazole): It is a protons pump inhibitors that blocks acid production. People do have increased apetite. See a doctor for nasal congestion and breathlessness.

Side effects PPI: Protonix may cause .. stomach pain, gas, nausea, vomiting, bloating....Side effects of Protonix include difficulty breathing, sinus infection , sore throat, runny nose, bronchitis and cough. Several studies have shown delayed gastric emptying of solids with PPI,w /inconsistent results with liquids. If you need a PPI, start w/low dose .Majority of people on PPI do not need it. You may need GI w/u.
