Atypical : Could be atypical shingles presentation, allergic dermatitis or viral infection. Consider requesting antiviral medication, if shingles it might help. Get 2 nd opinion.

See Derm: Does it follow a clothing or jewelry line? Could be local skin allergic reaction. Could also be a compression line if wearing tight constricting belt/strap.
