Not proven : There is no proven scientific evidence that "detox" helps with weight loss. A wiser thing to do would be to spend your money purchasing healthier foods and consulting a nutritionist. Your family doctor, internist, or endocrinologist can also provide you excellent tips on how to lose weight and more importantly, on how to maintain that weight loss in the long term.
