How will conception affect other parts of my body?

Many things: Pregnancy affects the whole body. Progesterone is the dominant hormone of pregnancy. It causes the basal body temperature to be increased by 1 degree, increased fatigue, and breast enlargement. There is relaxation of the ligments that causes the pelvic bones to widen. As the pregnancy gets further along there is less room in the stomach and breath volume decreases. Heart rate increases.

Everything: Almost every part of your body and organ system is affected by pregnancy, having said that, most women tolerate it very well and it all returns back to normal post partum.
