Get healthy!: In general, anything you can do to optimize your general health will increase your chances for an easy/healthy conception and pregnancy. Eat right, exercise, minimize tobacco or other substances (alcohol ok in moderation). Start taking a prenatal vitamin with at least 800mcg of Folic Acid to reduce risk of birth defects. And ask your doctor to check that youre immune to varicella and rubella.
