I have had 3 scad heart attacks the last of which was 8 weeks ago. last night i felt extremely nauseous. was this a precursor to another heart attack?

Unknown: Nausea alone is a very unusual initial presentation for a heart attack but you can never say "never." how did your other attacks present? Also, i assume you have been treated? Betablockers, plavix, (clopidogrel) and a statin have all been shown to significantly lower the incidence of recurrence. Do you have an icd or has it been discussed?

Nausea: Extreme nausea in the setting of recent and old heart attack warrants a thorough and immediate checkup for the cause of nausea. If cardiac event is ruled out, other causes must be investigated.
