Mites?: Not mites that i know of but mostly diseases from droppings of their excrement, like from pigeons or also salmonella from raw chick eggs rarely from pets. See cdc.Gov/my pets/...Birds.Htm.

Bird Mites: No bird mites (ornithonyssus sylviarum, dermanyssus gallinae) don't normally transmit diseases to humans but can be in a real pain in the butt (& elsewhere) take care.
