See below: It may be dryness which responds nicely to several drops of sesame oil applied to the bleeding side 2-3 times daily. If the septum is deviated one side is more likely to dry out and start to bleed. There may be superficial vessels on the front of the septum-there are 3 separate arteries supplying the front of the nose-that can bleed. Blood thinners, nose picking are other common causes.See ent.
