Definitely yes: Kidney produces renin a hormone that helps indirectly to regulate blood pressure. Reduced blood flow to entire kidney as in renal artery stenosis from arteriosclerosis or congenital fibromuscular dysplasia or due to kidney diseases like glomerulo- or pyelonephritis or just in scarred areas causes kidney to release renin in attempt to increase local blood flow & oxygenation. Results in elevated bp.
