A member asked:

What actually happens when you bleed to death?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: This depends upon the source of the bleeding and the speed of blood loss. In general, as the blood level drops you will become cold, your peripheral blood vessels will constrict and you will of course become pale. Breathing and heart rate will increase and eventually, unstopped blood loss will cause you to lose consciousness and eventually all functions will stop.
