It depends-: Blood in the stool is not normal, but can occur from a variety of short-term self-limited problems or hemorrhoids. It may represent a sign of something more serious. How is your health? Any other bleeding? Diarrhea, vomitting, fever? Any rashes on your skin? How much blood, how often, and what was its color? Mixed in with stool? And so on - many ?S your doctor would ask to begin to answer yours.
