Patience: Unfortunately, our bodies are not all the same, and your reaction to a new birth control medication may take longer to alter your cycles than someone else. I don't think it is related to a pap -- which is just scraping the lining. But, ocp take longer to get used to and you may have a few cycles with irregular or breakthrough bleeding.
