Use it or loose it: Other than the intense burning pain, color and temperature changes that are associated with crps (complex regional pain syndrome), long term complications can include bone and muscle loss and psychological affects such as anxiety and depression. Working with your health care providers to increase safe and gradual increased functioning of the painful area is the best way to minimize problems.
