Yes: Certainly possible along with possibilities of other allergic responses or insect bites.Anti-itching medication or lotion such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or calomine may relieve symptoms.Go back to the old detergent, wait several weeks and reuse the new to prove reaction or not.
