Rash: If the rash developed after you switched detergents it could be allergy. If it was prior then will need a picture to start to evaluate.

They gotta sleep.: Without actually seeing these itchy red "spots", one cannot be certain. And understand that I am speculating. But you can look on the internet for pictures. Are you ready??? BEDBUG bites. Calm down. It's only an educated guess.
