Not recommended: Until the wound is healed. Also use appropriate sun protection if outdoors.

Skin = Protection: The skin is our best barrier to infection. Whenever there is an opening in the skin, the risk on infection is increased. It is better to wait for your skin to heal before exposing it to new injury and contamination. Keep it clean.
