Still having moments of flashing light in peripheral vision which causes blindness of 1-2 seconds. what is it ?

Migraine or retina: I migraine can cause this but usually lasts for up to 20 minutes. A pulling on the retina by the vitreous gel can do this as well and can lead to a tear in the retina. Please have a dilated exam by an ophthalmologist to be sure.
