Why do i still feel unhappy with myself after fixing a lazy eye?

Depression?: You ask why you still feel unhappy after having a surgery. That tells me you felt unhappy before. Surgery is not going to fix depression. Perhaps you thought the reason you were feeling down was because of the problems from the lazy eye, and that surgery would 'cure' that. You now know that was not the reason you were unhappy. You need to sit down with a professional and explore your symptoms!

Counseling: You may be disappointed in the surgical result. Adults often have unrealistic expectations about what strabismus surgery will do for them. Sometimes counseling is helpful.
