Low BP likely: Light headedness and brief visual loss upon standing is typical of a temporary drop in blood pressure. It's called orthostatic hypotension. The most common causes include blood pressure medications and dehydration. Normally when we stand, blood vessels in the lower body constrict to keep blood going upward. When this malfunctions your symptoms are typical.
