Meningitis shot: what are the side effects for the injection site ect.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Local reaction: As with any immunization, you can have a local reaction at the injection site. This can cause it to be a little sore, there may be a small lump, and sometimes even a little redness. The muscle it was injected into may be a little sore for a day or two. Cool compress, gentle massage, very helpful in reducing symptoms.
