Yes: At age 38, in the absence off other health issues like high blood pressure, cholesterol, heavy smoking, transient visual loss is often benign. Blurring or zig zag lights that lasts for several minutes is common with a migraine variant that can only affect vision. Total loss of vision, especially if just in 1 eye can be due to a blocked blood vessel and can be serious (eg pre-stroke).
