A member asked:

What are the consequences of having breakbone fever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally few: Development of antibodies may lead to dengue hemorrhagic fever with reinfection. As in my prior responses about this disease, some people have prolonged recovery times and may have persistent malaise and profound fatigue for some time. The kidney failure (which is not common) is usually reversible.
