PTH & calcium levels: The most common tumor of the parathyroid glands in an adenoma (benign growth). Adenomas are often associated with elevated levels of PTH (parathyroid hormone), and this can result in abnormal calcium and phosporous levels for the patient. Hope that this helps.

High calcium: A parathyroid tumor can make too much parathyroid hormone, which will then elevate your calcium level. High calcium can lead to kidney stones, loss of bone (osteoporosis). Symptoms can include abdominal pain, constipation, fatigue, mood changes, confusion (if calcium becomes very high). In your age group, surgery to remove the parathyroid would be indicated.
