Go back to doctor: This is probably unrelated to the metformin, but best to have your pcp or endocrinologist examine you and make a determination of causal relationships face to face. Since you have previously had epidural steroid injections this may be in part due to spinal disk problems. The total body aches can have many different possible sources. Good luck. Hope this works out well.
