I advise waiting: The over the counter urine pregnancy tests are very accurate, if used as directed after the date of the missed menses. Until you have a positive pregnancy test, there is not much your doctor is going to do. Please take prenatal vitamins, and see your doctor if you have pain, cramping, bleeding or are concerned in any way about your health.
