Other symptoms?: Was there an apparent reason for the swelling the first time? Ie: a bite on the arm, rash or infection.Did it heal while the node was swollen?Has she had a recurrance of the bites, rash, on the arm? Sounds like an infectious process at least in the beginning.Were there scratches from a kitten involved on the arm or hand ? Discuss what you can remember with your doc.That can direct the next step.
