Are there things i can do myself to treat dementia?

Following Directions: What a patient with dementia can do for themselves varies depending upon the type of dementia. For all dementias, you want to first and foremost follow the recommendations of your physician. These may include taking medications, managing medical problems, special diets, exercise programs, and attending support groups. This will not cure dementia, but can significantly alter its progression.

See below: You would need some sort of supervision for treatments. Dementia is the loss of the mental function. Your healthcare professional and primary caregiver will assist your needs in order to slow down the progression of dementia. Socialization and getting busy with your favorite hobbies wil help but needs supervision for encouragement.
