A member asked:

Is there a time limit re: safety when using antifungal creams? my infection is reduced, but it has taken longer than the 2 weeks & is still there.

What kind?: What sort of fungal infection are we talking about? Jock itch and athlete's foot often take longer than 2 weeks to respond, and you can continue to use the antifungal cream as long as is necessary. If it still does not clear, or you have a fungal infection of the nails or other areas of the body, an oral antifungal medication may be necessary. That will have to be prescribed by your doctor.
