Possibly: Peripheral neuropathy can be any nerve , or more often refers to a type of "stocking-glove" area of feet or hands seen in diabetes, thyroid disease, B12 deficiency , .Trigeminal neuralgia is specific to that nerve , and can involve branches of the trigeminal individually.Most cases are from compression of the nerve by the superior cerebellar artery.
