Difficult to say: These types of situations are difficult to diagnose without actually being able to see you & with very little information to go on. It's hard to say if what you describe is related to the tooth abscess, a reaction to the antibiotics, something else, or a combination of these factors. I suggest you consult with your own dentist and\or physician who knows your complete medical\dental history.

Inflammation: Puffiness in the area you described is usually associated with either inflammation or an abscess associated with a maxillary posterior tooth. Even if you are on antibiotics, the tooth may still be draining. Nothing to do with sleeping on your stomach. Call your dentist for a look-see.

Cavernous Sinus: It sounds as though you may have a life threatening condition. Abscesses that form at the tip of the 'eye teeth' or canine teeth can invade to cavernous sinus and lead to death. Antibiotics should not be used to treat this. Instead, definitive treatment must be completed....Tooth removal or root canal therapy. Do not mess around with the cavernous sinus! get treatment!
