A member asked:

Can ultrasound detect bladder cancer or somewhere else that has a tumor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Externally applied ultrasound can be used to examine the abdomen, the liver, the bladder, and some other areas. The us can show a mass, and something about the composition. You still need a biopsy for diagnosis.
