Some perhaps: Medications do have to get fda approved so they cannot be too dangerous. However, zolpidem also known as Ambien has more recently been characterized as causing behavior that is as bizarre as you are describing. In addition, excessive doses of sedatives like benzodiazepines or even antihistamines can lead to these same issues. Stay safe!
