Many, not all "yes": A few years ago a research effort at columbia univ. By carl hart found that the widespread belief that meth caused severe, often permanent, brain damage might be overblown. They did not conclude that it was safe, but questioned the previous dire claims. In any case, it is a drug that causes problems in many if not most or all lives of regular users.
